I am a qualified music teacher with a PGCE and many years of experience. Having had vast experience teaching both Guitar and Music both privately and in schools for over 10 years I have now settled in the South West whereby I teach Guitar at two of the most musically prestigious schools in the country. I have achieved Outstanding status as a UK registered music teacher and continue to compose, record and perform my own work - www.harrynorth.co.uk  I have taught students to pass grades from 1 - 8 (ABRSM & Trinity Rock & Pop) and I primarily ensure all my learners enjoy learning the guitar. I offer private lessons from the comfort of your own home that are safe, fun and affordable. I am a member of the National Union of Teachers and the Musicians Union. The curriculum I offer is fun, engaging and comprehensive.

As a parent myself and practicing school teacher I fully understand the absolute importance of ensuring every child's safety remains the upmost priority when they learn.  For all under 18 year old students/pupils who undertake lessons - prior to lessons I send out a comprehensive terms and conditions to the parents/carers/guardians. In 2013 I graduated with a PGCE in music education from Bath Spa University.

in 2011 I graduated from the same university with a degree in commercial music. 

In 2008 I graduated from music college with a BTEC National Diploma in Popular music 

I am a member of the Musicians Union and a member of the National Union of Teachers (NUT)
